Roadies 5.0 – Finale(Journey 13) Part 1

The bitchiest and the most interesting episodes of all. The skeletons came out of the closet. The journey started off with a bike ride in the city of Kuala Lumpur and behined the scene was shown all the plannings,politics, strategies etc. etc. etc., that was done by Nihal and Ashu to drive all other contestants out of the game.

When Sneha(on his elimination) told that Nihal was mastermind behined Vik;s elimination, I thought WTF!!! How could it be, as Sneha was the one convincing others to eliminate Vik. Today they showed, the game behined that. It was a setup by Ashu and Nihal. Most of the others truths were also revealed.

Back to the episode, Ranvijay called the 3 finalists near a swimming pool for the final immunity task. The task was really difficult. They were to be tied to a chair handcuffed and had to go under water. The one to untie himself/herself faster would be make his/her way to final 2. I thought Ashu would be able to do it. But, but, but.. how could I forget their past performances?? None was able to perform and signalled to pull them out of water due to shortage of breath. So, to choose the winner, things were seen from a different angle. The one who stayed under water for a longer time would be the winner. Ashu emerged out to be immune as he held his breath for 44 seconds(quite a time !!!)… Now, the other finalist.. The honors to choose that person was given to Ashu…. friendship or so called ‘lady love’….. Ashu chose Nihal as his competitor. Sonel left off without expecting that some people are waiting for her in the room.

Yes guys, you are right… all other roadies(eliminated) were waiting for the eliminated to pounce back. Everybody started commenting on Sonel, as soon as she entered the room. The poor girl had to take it helplessly. The things went really wrong when the so-called “best friend”(Prabhjot) also doubted on Sonel’s crying when she was eliminated twice. On the other side, Ashu and Nihal were celebrating their victory of making it to final 2, when they got a scroll. Ranvijay called them to a parking lot. On reaching there, Ranvijay was waiting for them and he was not alone. The other roadies were also there to welcome them. There started one more round of bitching, arguement between Nihal and Anmol…. Ayaz out of the blue, pushing Nihal. Dude, why didn’t Nihal give it back??….. If you ask me, I felt this situation totally artificial and well-scripted…. Just to add drama they were shouting at each other…

Ranvijay explained them the process of selecting the winner this time. No voting gonna happen unlike earlier season of Roadie. This time the finalists had to choose a team of 5 from eliminated roadies who would do some task in the next final episode(as shown in the trailer, looks quite convincing)…. and that would determine the final winner.

The episode ended with Ranvijay calling the “nightmare” Raghu(head well shaved, it was quite glowing ;) ), on the camera.

Highlights of the next episode:

  • Raghu blasting on Ashu in his highest possible pitch
  • Ashu’s tongue being pierced as a part of the task
  • Sneha’s head being shaven….
  • Nihal slapping Shambhavi with full force….

I will not miss it any cost….. How about you guys???

    Hey Harsh if u saw the show keenly u would have noticed they played a song during the starting of the show when all the flashback of roadie elimination was goin on…..

    U remember it,…… one of the songs was Dhoondien by Abijeet sawant and the other one was a Hindi Rock track…….
    Can u tell me which one…………………………

    I didn’t like this episode at all. Ayaz was looking to be innocent at first. But you must seen what he did with Nihal.

    Nobody in the roadies is really fair, I mean honest. Don’t you think so?

    the one thing which harsh has missed out, the highlights of the next episode also showed varun’s nipples being peirced. I dont like the idea of playing wih roadiess body. This thing sux. It is really inhuman kind of thing yaar.

    Good episode with three best friends reaching the destination from begining.

    What ashu said i totally agree that dosti kaam aati hai, har bhar tum immunity nahi jeet sakte ho. he proved it by selecting nihal for sonel, i really liked it. :-)

    Sonel was upset with prabhjot’s doubting it.

    Baaki all roadies were bitching more on nihal, did not get why anmol was fighting with him coz could not listen to it.

    Ayaz thing was pre planned maybe like raj and ankit last season(raghu try something new).

    lets watch the last episode of finale, hope its interesting and then we will miss the roadies action :-(

    @Aminul: Yeah, the episode really looked artificial this time…. It was well-scripted and well-practiced before…

    @xxx: Thank you for the comments. When it comes to deserving winner, none of the two deserves to be a roadie. Moreover people already know the results by now. Ashu slapping Shambhavi seems to be one of the tasks.
    Lets wait and watch
