Sin – Well Defined
I am reading a book – “The Kite Runner” by “Khaled Hosseini“. I just came across one page where a father tells his son, the meaning of sin. I know most of the people have already read this book still I am sharing with you all….
I quote:
“Now, no matter what the mulah teaches, there is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft.”
“When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife’s right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone’s right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness.”
“There is no act more wretched than stealing. A man who takes what’s not his to take, be it a life or a loaf of naan(bread)…I spit on such a man.”
Courtsey: “The Kite Runner” by “Khaled Hosseini”
What is sin to you ???

Sin = Stealing – interesting way of looking at it. It’s true.
As a married couple, and you/or they sin – I believe it’s unintentionally bringing down the other person and also creating distance between the both of you as you damage your chance of being together forever after this life. You’re taking the love of their life away – make sense?
Great post!
*I LOVE your blog so much I nominated yours on mine!
